Default Re: Advice with Omni

So the guy tells me Via the problem resolution center of PayPal, that he'll fix the the Omni, but he's been MIA for over five days now.

I guess at this point the only thing I've got going for me, is the fact that he agreed to fix it via the resolution center of PayPal. So I guess he has no choice but to either repair it, or refund my money at this point. It just sucks that it's taking this long.

I know some people have had issues in the past with PayPal. I've never had an issue, today they came through big time with this situation by making the seller refund my money!!!!!

I'm just now seeing this thread but Paypal dispute is the best thing ever when dealing with liars, cheats, crooks, or just plain dishonest people trying to pull a fast one. In all the years I've used Paypal I've only had to open a couple of disputes but Paypal always did the right thing. Glad you are receiving a refund.

BTW, the Omni is a great interface. It has excellent converters and mic-pre's plus the digital I/O comes in handy. Mine is setup where Analog Out 1/2 is my main stereo mix and Analog Out 7/8 is my Alt mix. I didn't feel the need to use a separate monitoring unit anymore. Less is more :) I bought an $8 1/4" stereo headphone splitter on Amazon so I can connect two headphones to the Omni's headphone output.

There is another forum member here that I trust and am going to buy his Omni, I'm looking forward to being able to use it to its potential. I did get to experience it's conversion which is fantastic, a solid step up from my existing 192 I/O's!

Yes Barry, If you can get a fully functional Omni, You'll have a solid flexible interface. I seldom use my 192.
