Default New update out!

Anyone give the new update a test drive? Don't want to end up in the same boat as I did with V-Control.

Seems to be running well on 11.3.2

Make sure that you update the iPad app as well. New EuControl will crash earlier version of the app.

You mean 12.2 right

Eucon 3.3.1 is the latest came out last night and works great here, even on our 10.8.5 MBP 2014

Ha, good catch! I was on my phone at work waiting for a truck. Guess I missed my typo. I'll give it all a shot tonight. Chris, do you have any vanilla rigs running VCA's properly?

Worked all good last night, connected in the same room for over two hours. The real test will be tonight when I track drums. We'll see if the PTC stays connected. Pretty happy about the changes, still wish they would've taken the time to take some of the suggestions on what to change.

Hey Guys,

At least in the near term, we'll be releasing EuControl updates with each Pro Tools | Control update. So, you'll need to make sure that after installing the latest PTC version from the App Store that you go to account.avid.com and get the latest (matching) EuControl version. We'll always call out in the App Store and DUC announcements which version of EuControl is required.

Thanks,

Hi Kyle,

Interesting to note that in 3.3.1, metering on Eucon devices is restored when using with ProTools 11.3.1.

I thought this fix was actually in ProTools 11.3.2?

I'm running both 3.3.1 and 11.3.2, and metering is working fine I'm happy to report, but I'm just confused as to why metering got broken in the first place if it's now possible with 11.3.1?

what does the upgrade actually do?

if they had a few more rows of softkey and slightly bigger that would be great~

also the 'layouts' recall could remember last setting so I didnt have to press 2 buttons to get to the useful function - Ie recal layout - 3 if u actually count the layout u want!
