Solved!
Thanks!

Was happening on my Win 10 machine earlier. Thought it was maybe Pad to Frame but turns out it was Parallel Task Optimizations. Turned it off, everything back to normal.

Are you bouncing to the exact length of the video? And What format is said video?

Those of you experiencing this issue:
  1. Are you using Bars/Beats for your grid?
  2. Do you have the Conductor enabled?
  3. If so, what is your tempo?
I'm experiencing this issue when my session is set to an odd-numbered tempo (99, 101 BPM), or any decimal value. I removed all plug-ins from the Plug-ins folder, had only Maxim on the mix bus, and any attempt to bounce ends with a SWOD / hang at 0:00. My .wav files are corrupt, however. I can either disable MAXIM, or set my tempo to an even number / no decimal (100, 98, etc), or disable the Conductor.

This is a brand new session with only a click track and an aux mix buss, latest release of Pro Tools.

I was also experiencing this issue with ONE session in particular (other sessions bounce to .wav, .mov, etc. w/no issues) so I thought it might be plug-in related... BUT, looking closer at the session, I noticed that although the beginning and end points of my bounce were on the bars/beats grid I was actually starting/ending in between frames on the timecode grid (I'm working on a film project). After moving my start/end markers onto a frame, it bounces with no issues. I would have thought the pad to frame boundary checkbox would handle this, but apparently not? Give it a try if it's still giving you issues.
