crash when cancelling a take
Seems like most of my crashes occur when canceling a take with command-period. The audio file is still written onto the disk (although at 1.98gig). Happens a lot. Any suggestions?

Re: crash when cancelling a take
Sounds like you need to do a clean install. Reinitialize your drive and reinstall your software don't forget to B/U, run Nortons and Disk Warrior afterwards. Otherwise, instead of command/period while track is recording try this: record the take and press stop if it needs to be rerecorded. Select (highlight) the take (audio region) you want to discard and press Shift/command/B, and it will be removed off the drive and session. You will have to reassign the start point of the recorded section because the region will still be highlighted after it's wiped and PT will only record the length that is selected. Good Luck.
