8.0.4 - session specific crashes every time with crash report

When I close this session, it has crashed me about 20 times or so. It looks like it is closing down tracks when I get the crash. Other sessions on the same system do not do this. Does any of this provide any clues?

Looking at that crashlog, it says that Thread 20 crashed. Scrolling down to look at the trace for thread 20, it points a finger at some sort of PCI hardware query. I'd give Digitest a run and see if it finds any problems with one of your HD cards. The other sessions may just not be crashing because they aren't touching one of the DSP chips in particular.

Importing everything into a new empty session yields the same result - a crash on closing the session.

Good idea! I forget to run that most of the time.

A full test resulted in no failures on any of the 3 cards.

I do have my cards in a Magma PE6R4 chassis though. Hmmm.

Deactivate all your plugs and try to close. Is there a plug that u are not usig on the other sessions.
Sounds like session corruption. I know it is tedious but try importing one track at a time. FF

Yeah I'll try to sort it doing that. I have to work on some other stuff before I can get to troubleshooting that session further, but it's probably something like that.
