Thumbs down Digidesign vs Avid

Avid is not the bright company Digidesign use to be....... I would say many bright people have left Digidesign and now you have more bean counters who are clueless about vision of audio

Avid has always lost money!

Avid is not like Apple!

Avid has owned Digidesign since 1995... so I don't see what you're getting at here...

Thumbs down Re: Digidesign vs Avid

Two facts: The same people from Digidesign are no longer with Avid and Avid when it was a separate division always lost money.

Do you work for Avid or are you a reseller for Avid products?

Oh, actually Avid purchased before 1995....

Neither.

Simply stating a fact. The dropping of the Digidesign moniker was nothing more than a branding decision. Avid has been calling the shots for well over a decade.

My point is I believe the direction of the company has changed making bad decisions and causing teh stock price to drop.
