Default Roll Back HDX Card firmware???

I've been using PT 11HD with HDX core for about 4 years. It's fine. I like the newer versions but haven't been able to afford to upgrade.
however, i decided to try a demo of the new 2019/5 software. during the install i was prompted to 'upgrade' the firmware on my HDX card. Then the software didn't work because apparently I need to buy a digilink licence for an extra £250. I added this up with the software upgrade price and have changed my mind. I'm just not making enough to justify the cost. I think this should be perfectly acceptable. Thats the point of a demo, right? However. now i have gone back to pt11 which i own outright i can't get my inputs to work, presumably because of this HDX firmware update.
is there a way to roll back the firmware to my original one? surely there must be a way to revert back. I've tried this https://avid.secure.force.com/pkb/ar...are&popup=true But nothing seems to be happening. Im not getting a prompt to update my firmware.
Any advice would be gratefully received. Thanks
Mark

Yes, thanks for your reply. This is the procedure outlined in the link I shared in my original post. Doesn’t seem to be having any effect though...

What is your system specs — specifically where is your HDX card located in? Due to the need of power being applied through the process, the firmware reset will not work if the card is in a chassis.

Ahh. Now that is useful information, thanks.
Thankfully I still have my Mac Pro 5.1 so I will pop the card in there and have a go.
Cheers
Mark.
