Midi notes lagging/hanging/sustaining

Hello all, computer/hardware specs are in the sig.

I am trying to put together a very short clip using the MIDI score editor to manually enter the notes and using the XPAND plug-in (set to some strings). My problem is that the playback seems to hang about 1/2 a measure behind the score, (its not just the attack setting on the strings, ive tried playing with that and multiple other plug-ins, like the piano setting which shouldnt suffer from that), and certain notes will hang for 2 or 3 measures longer than they should. I think this is just a simple setting somewhere or something that Im missing. I can take a vid if it would help. Thanks for any help!

Having the same exact problem. Midi although amazing can be a nightmare. I'll be looking for someone to post.
