Default Plug-in automation lanes

One thing I really appreciate about Logic is that when you write plug-in automation, the parameter you’re automating automatically appears as an automation lane, you don’t have to manually go find it in the hierarchy to show the lane.

Am i crazy or is there no way to do this in PT?

Especially annoying for complex instrument plugins with LOTS of parameters.

I agree this would be a *really* nice feature. Not the same, but you know you can ctl-cmd-click the parameter you're automating in the Plug-in's UI and it will be brought to the track's automation display, yes?

Yup!!! "Boy Scouts" to enable (control-option-command clicking), then lift your middle finger to show.

These get used constantly.

I grumble about it every day. Somehow never thought to do so on the DUC. Thanks for bringing it up.
