Re: Creating Crossfades between regions
Hey Shan
Thanks for the session download. I opened it up, and saw your example, but since there were no actual sound wavs on the regions, I couldn't tell if they were blending together. I'm able to create identical xfades on the following two regions, but my real problem is that I can't blend the actual sound waves from region 1 and region 2. When you use your fade dialogue box, are your sound waves blended into one another? |

...and speaking of fades, maybe we can advance you to this one day soon when you get the xfade problem sorted out.
Keep me posted. Shane

Re: Creating Crossfades between regions
Thanks for the xfades file Shan. Your screenshot shows exactly the kind of blend that I am unable to produce, but when I manipulate the regions in the file, I am getting the same results as my own files.
I highlight the overlap point between 2 regions, hit ctrl F and it opens up the fade dialogue box with a distinct cut off at the splice point. I haven't figured out how to edit existing fade files, so I can't open up the dialogue box for the one existing fade you created. Thanks for your time, hopefully you're not getting as discouraged as I am! Ben |
