Firewire drive installation on MAC
I just upgraded my to OS 9.2.2 and subsequently added additional RAM.
Now, my firewire drive will not mount. I believe it is probably a conflict with the new Apple Firewire extensions. What confuses matters is that the firewire drive did work with the OS 9.2.2 although I was getting "add more memory" warnings, and so went out and purchased new memory--disconnecting the drive in the process (with the machines cold). I had turned off the HDST Firewire extensions that came with the Buslink 1394 drive. I have experimented with turning them back on--but no go. Both the Buslink and Intech (HDST) web sites have not been helpful, nor has the Apple web site. Have also experimented with plugging in drive both before and after computer is turned on. Any ideas? |

Re: Firewire drive installation on MAC
DB,
From everything I've read here at the DUCs, you want to use the apple 9.2.2 standard drivers, no third party drivers. |
