SSL Duende V6 Plugin update

That being said, I love X-Verb and would like to see it ported over as well.

Waves is based on the analog hardware while the SSLs are based on code from one of their digital consoles. I don't know if the auto release is exactly the same. The only legit comparison is with the version 5.

I've heard that before too but I don't know why the product page says it's based on "The centre section compressor SSL's 1980's G Series analogue console"

The SSL Duende Native channelstrip and Bus comp (V5 & V6) were modeled after the last series XL 9000k console and ported from the SSL C-200 digital console, which is the C-200's built in channel strip plugin. The only other modeled XL 9000k plugin that exists to my knowledge is the Softube Console One.

I had the v5 Bus Compressor but I never really used it as much as I thought I would.

The new v6 version however (and thank you very much SSL, I like your up-date policy!) seems to immediately hit the spot for some reason. I like it.

The difference is between Native and The Glue or Waves, I compared V5 and 6 but I don't remember any difference

FWIW I just read great comments on The Glue, but buying a third SSL Bus Compressor is too much, even for my deep pockets (NOT!)

I'd given up on these plugins a while back. I own the buss comp and channelstrip. thanks for posting that they have been updated. I downloaded them yesterday and they seem to be just fine. the UI overhaul is also very nice.
