Default Reverb Question.

I am working on an spoken vocal track that was recorded in a large hall. I do not know who recorded it but the reverb of the hall really distracts from the speech.

Is there a way or any suggestions out there to squash this reverb in the teeth?

Thanks

Gentle gating might help a bit.

Not sure if it will help or not...

112dB makes a Redline Reverb that sells cheap and is a GREAT! reverb.. one of the settings is for an ISO booth that sucks the ambient life right out of the signal, it may help dry things up for you.

Also, TL Space and Waves IR1 have different types of settings for car interiors, quiet rooms, etc... that may help improve things a bit.

Good luck!

Wow this is great. Thanks for taking the time to post.

Also "Green Room" setting helps also.

Redline Reverb very nice with a 60 day trial and no restrictions.
