Default Re: Click ahead of counter...doesn't sync with grid

Where would I look for that? I'm still learning PT....and yes, the counter is set to Bars and Beats.

I think the last time I worked with PT I was importing a midi file (organ) and using Kontakt player for an organ sound.

Like I said earlier, it looks like it's exactly 1/8th note off.

Thanks!

Mike

Open the Pro Tools reference guide already installed with Pro Tools and search for things there...

Default SOLVED!! Re: Click ahead of counter...doesn't sync with grid

Unreal.

It turns out the problem was the lag in the monitor I have. I switched it to GAME mode and the problem went away. I have an Insigna NS 32L550A11 TV that I have used as a monitor for years now.

I was able to narrow it down when I installed the free version of Studio One to try out. I noticed that the problem was exactly the same in that piece of software and Pro Tools. A little sleuthing in the TV menu and I finally figured it out.

I wanted to make sure I posted the solution, since it's so oddball, and since no one was able to figure out what the problem was.

after several attempts ...
I found that the problem of synchronizing between click track .. midi sync .. and pro tool 7.3 ... It is solved by placing a usb memory drive before starting pro tool ..
