Disk Warrior
I am using PT 6.0.1....
Is it save to use Disk Warrior for repairs? Also, I have been backing up my hard drives for several weeks now and what to know if it is safe defrag my hard drives with Disk Warrior? I just don't what to cause problems to Pro Tools.... If you knew what I mean. Thanks, Mark

DiskWarrior is a great utility, and much safer than Norton. It is however time consuming.
the fastest way to defrag, once you have your drive backed up, is to simply reinitialize the drive using the Apple drive set-up utility. It takes only a minute, and will completely defrag your drive. It deletes all data, so be sure to back up before doing this. this is our method of defraging. Hope this is helpful. |
