MP3 file "cannot be imported because quicktime is not installed"
So im using protools 9 and i just installed in on my PC, i have used it before on mac countless times and i bought a new desktop PC so i installed it.
but i am having a slight problem 'cannot be imported because quicktime is not installed' But i DO have quicktime installed and i have never faced this problem, here is a picture to show you. http://i1268.photobucket.com/albums/.../PTPROBLEM.png |

Hi,
Take a look at this article: http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/e...ility/en206937 The article is for an older version but this still applies. Try deleting the database file and the using Update Database for Selected to re-index the files you are trying to import.
