Default 2 x Mix = Editing channel's parameter on wrong display?

Hey folks,

I'm using 2 Artist Mix units simultaneously, standing next to each other. Whenever I want to edit a parameter for a single channel, let's say the EQ, the parameters are always displayed on the LEFT unit, even if the selected channel is on the RIGHT unit. This is what I do:

1) Select the channel on the surface using the "SEL" button
2) Push the "CHAN" button to switch to channel mode
3) Chose the category to edit (for example EQ)
4) The according parameters are displayed on the left surface

It's kinda strange to edit the parameters of a channel on one unit, while the channel itself is on the other unit. Is this a bug, a feature or can this be changed?
