Default SC48 to PT10 to Mackie Onyx 1640i

I'll be recording a Live event mixed FOH with SC48, I'm not the FOH ENG. and don't want to trouble him much...
Can I set on my PT10 to receive FW 32 input from SC48 and Output to my Mackie Onyx 1640i so I can monitor my recording????

Thanks

In similar case I do the following, in PT mix down all to a stereo pair, typically out 1-2, send that pair back to VENUE and get one stereo channel (like free FX return) for my use. Take it out of all automation, solo-safe it and send it's direct out from any available output on FOH rack. Then put an headphone amp up connected to that stereo pair and off you go!

Thanks I'll do that... But still my question is up: Will PT recognize my Mackie as another interface, and can I assign it for the outputs? This way I'll have 16 tracks for monitoring.

The other part of the story is that I'll be also mixing for a live stream and I could use does 16 trk returns.

Thanks again...

When you select FWx32 as your HW engine in PT then that is all you can use. I have never tried to use the Aggregate IO, and I don't know if that would let you mix interfaces. Kind of doubt that... but if it does, well that's cool, still you need to try that yourself. If this works, don't forget to clock your other HW to Venue.
