Default Recording live show next week, a few questions...

We have decided that we are going to use my MacBook running 7.4.2pr. I have a mbox mini running on this machine but we are going to be using a 002. I have never had any digi hardware except my mbox on this computer. Do I have to install the 002 drivers for it to work? If so were do I get them from?

Thanks alot

You should be fine, Pro Tools installs without you specifying which interface you'll be using. You should definitely plug the 002 in well before the gig though and run some tests, you never know what issues you might have, especially considering the 002 works off firewire, the mbox mini off USB.

1 record to a recommended external drive
2 set as many channels as you can to record, hit record and come back in a couple of hours, to make sure it works.
3 none of the above guarantee it will work on the night - so set up a dat, cdr or other digital or analogue recorder as a safety measure
4 don't worry and have fun
