Default DIGI002 + PT10 + Maverick

Ok... (Sorry for my bad English)
First of all, my last computer has recently been out of service so I had to buy a new one.

I knew that Maverick had some compatibility problems with the Digi002 but I had to work so I bought a new apple retina macbook pro.

Installation worked as a charm, I installed the latest drivers, connect the unit, unit get recognized by PT10. Until here no problem (yay!).

Buuuut...
With the latest drivers, i got a crappy high CPU usage of kernel_task while I'm connected with my DIGI002. After a few takes, I also get noisy clicks and I have to restart PT. I've been through forums and I discovered that I wasn't alone. So I tried older drivers, kernel_task disapeared but I'm getting quite every minutes of playback a CPU error. (-6083)

I checked my CPU in PT and on my Activity Monitor. I got 40% on a 2.6 GHz i7 core with 16 Go Ram... I tried to change the number of processor used, the buffer and all the other options, no difference between a 1024 and a 32 Buffer size. So it's clearly coming from drivers isn't it?

Sound strange. Any recommandation?

All I can add is that Pro Tools 10 works fine with my 002 Console on my mid-2012 Macbook Pro running OSX 10.8.5. So, if I were to venture a guess, it does sound like it might be a Mavericks problem.

Yeah I totally agree with you, all the people that are experiencing such kind of issues are on Maverick. I decided to buy a new interface, can't stop recording until an hypothetic fix pops out... Thx Avid for supporting Legacy products.

Why don't they make their drivers open source so more interested and able people than their techteam could build fix? I'm pretty sure that the Pro Tools community would do that...

Anyway, I bought a TC Electronic Konnekt 48. I'll miss my 002R
