Default undo\'s or not undo\'s

Just bought the 001 and I'm running windows 98SE. I only seem to have one undo level. I thought PTLE came with more.

kind of sucks, huh? but I think that's it...

actually, with audio recording, I don't even think undo works. you have 1 'undo' when doing edits, like copying, pasting, etc. But if you 'record' over existing audio, you can't UNDO it, you have to search for the original file in the region bin and drag it over to where you want it. It is kind of a hassle. I think I had a post on this not to long ago.

I think the undo's are a little more flexible with MIDI recording. You CAN undo if you record over existing MIDI data.

I'm still new to this, so if I'm wrong guys, let me know...

Yes you can undo midi recording.

Made the mistake of recording over the beginning of midi track yesterday when I wanted to record the audio it would produce,
and the one undo saved the day.

One undo is not really convenient, but I find only one undo forces you to commit to your edit/change i.e. you have to know what you're doing or what you want to accomplish first.
