Error 1308 while trying to install 10.3.8

I successfully download and installed PT 11.1.0, however, after downloading and unzipping PT 10.3.8 I get this error during the install process;

Avid Pro Tools Installer Information

Error 1308. Source File Not Found

C:\users\owner\desktop\Pro_tools_10_3_8_Installer. 80778\Pro Tools\Pro Tools Installer\Program Files\Avid\Pro Tools\PT Help\Audio Plug-ins\css\Mantooth-Overview.css.

Verify that the file exists and that you can access it.

I've tried downloading a new file three times and get the same result. Any suggestions?

I am having the exact same problem over here. I noticed the files are missing from the zip file.

Looks like they have taken PT10.3.8 for WIN off the downloads list. Perhaps they are aware the installer is missing files?

The file was pulled after confirming the error. Eng is looking into it now.

also seems like stand alone driver is not working. my native instrument plug ins sound like cylons

Same problem here but I did install it tho. I had to hold the "I" key on the keyboard to "Ignore" the error and continue. I had to do that for 5 mins straight to complete installation

Well, at least I know it wasn't just me bungling the install!

Well, Avid has pulled the PT 10.3.8 from the downloads page as it is missing certain critical files. That explains my problem.

Same problem for me too, thought I was having a local problem. At least I know its not on my end now.

Must be a Windows thing - I didn't get this error on install. Have other problems which I'll do a separate thread on.
