Default Drive not fast enough

Hello i know this must be a stupid question but i need help.
I am using Pro tools 8 on a pc with windows xp, the problem is i have made a drum track using reason 4 and now i want to use rewire with pro tools to get the tdrums from reason so i can process the drums using pro tools.the problem is i set everything up and when i hit record in pro tools to record from reason pro tools freezes for ages the come up with the following message.

DAE cant get audio from the drive fast enough, your drive maybe fragmented or to slow or firewire drive could be having trouble due to extra bandwidth or cpu load (-9073).

Has any body had this problem and what should i do

sorry i have the following:
pc with 2 gig memory
002 rack
duel core pentuim processor
pto tools 8
Reason 4
2 hard drives one withe just operating system and programs, the other 2 SATA drives in 0 raid config i think i know the computer sees the two sata drives as one.
please help , thanks

Pro Tools does not support RAID.
