Where is my activation code?

I bought a used pro tools le 8 package with everything in it. I have the yellow product registration information card with the registration ID and serial number and the setup guide with the authorization code. But where is the activation code? I think it's the one that's supposed to start with "LE" but I can't find it anywhere.

Did you buy a used interface, like the 003? If so, the activation code is usually on the first or second page of the "Getting Started" guide book that comes with the interface.

If a transfer of ownership was done, this might be easier to work out then if it was not.

I thought that the activation code and the Authorization code were two different things. I have the authorization code from the inside of the booklet, which starts with "DIGI." I plugged this in and it didn't work. I read that the activation code should start with "LE" and I don't see any codes like that.

An activation code is used for products that require an iLok authorization (or some other auth other than an 'authorization code').

In your case, if you're using Pro Tools 8, the authorization code is what's used to authorize Pro Tools. Does the code you have start with DIGI0800?
