Default Pro Tools 11 Fade Files 32 bit Float bug

Hi @ all,

i have a problem with Pro Tools 11 and higher, by using fade files on a full-scale 32bit float audio file.

does anyone can check if he have the same bug in PT 11 and higher?

1) Create a new audio track
2) Create a sine tone with the signal generator with 0dB full-scale in 32bit floating point in this track
3) seperate this audiofile in two pieces
4) create an equal power crossfade to combine the three clips
5) When you play this audio files, it will clip when it pass the fade file.
6) Now consolidate the two parts to a new file. The session must be in 32 Bit Float
7) Play the new audio file again

In my session the file is partially destroyed. Can anyone reproduce it?

I tried it in PT 11.1.3 and PT 11.2. I have always the same problem. In PT 10.3.6 everything is fine.

Kind regards,

Matthias
