I have the GM version as well and all is good including UAD. All third party apps work as they did in Yosemte. As I said in another thread apps including Pro Tools seems to have much better CPU performance and you are right everything loads faster. If you want to get all your hardware working properly including UAD go here.

https://developer.apple.com/library/...016462-CH5-SW1

At the present time you have to deactivate System Integrity Protection to get certain hardware drivers to be recognized and loaded.

I've tried disabling the SIP but unfortunately it just crashes the machine when it tries to load the driver. The difference I believe is people that have seen success have firewire or thunderbolt whereas my system is PCIe Quad.

Does anybody know of a method/workaround to get the Apogee Symphony I/O (MK1) running with Sierra?

My Symphony IO worked just fine! How are you connecting to your computer?

Have you tried connecting it via USB? might be a workaround for now?

Thx for the hint, USB seems to be working. ;-)
Now why haven't I thought of this before?
I had to install everything from scratch though, OS and Apogee Software. Once everything is setup for ThunderBridge there is no going back. Real odd.
So, to avoid any more issues I deselected the Thunderbolt Driver stuff upon install. Thx again, now I can at least do some testing on Sierra.
