Default Help Installing M-Powered

I just started to install my Mpowered system today, and i can't launch protools. I am using 7.3 witha Maudio Profire Lightbridge. The iLok is in the USB, and i installed all the drivers!!! Why won't PT open??

Hey,

If you updated OSX to 10.4.9 via automatic update, that is the problem. Go to apple and manually download and install the 10.4.9 combo update for OSX. That should allow you to open protools.

Also intel based macs using firewire interfaces should use driver version 1.7.4. I am not overly familiar with the lightbridge, but commonly, M Audio drivers are the same for most if not all of their products.

As of the middle of last month when this whole fiasco with 10.4.9 came about, it's been FUN.
