dorroughs advice
Hi all,
I am considering buying a pair of dorroughs and I am looking for input as far as what model would best suit my needs. I will be using them for both broadcast and film projects so I assume the 40-C model is for me. Is there any reason why I should think twice before investing in these beauties if I am going to be using them for broadcast? I have also considered the digital meters (280-D, 380-D) ... again is there any signifigant advantage/disadvantage between these models? As a side note I am curious how other mixers use these when mixing multi-channel with only one pair... the last gig I was on i was doing a 2 man mix and the dialogue/music mixer just used one for the center channel which i thought was a good idea... Anyway thanks in advance for any advice ya'll can float me. Brett |

Re: dorroughs advice
Brett,
If your going to mix 5.1, then have 6 meters. I have a custom set of these: http://www.dorrough.com/dorrough/pro.../surround.html When you want to see a trick 5.1 Re-Recording Stage, call me at: www.thedubstage.com
