C|24 Pro Tools 9 Monitor Issue

I have been unable to get output to the Monitor output since upgrading to PT9. I have now connected the monitor direct to the fireface as an emergency measure.

I have reset the c|24 and tried updating the firmware again. But now firmware update continually fails asking to check ethernet connection (which is fine).

Any ideas?

Is Pro Tools using the 002r as its playback engine? Setup>Playback Engine, look at the top item and see what device is chosen to playback. If the 002 is shown, then check your IO paths. Also, some of us are having an issue with PT9 where it selects the incorrect output when adding a master fader, so look at that as well(mine loves to come up using my DrumComp bus).

Thanks for the reply. I need to change my sig. I have upgraded to a Fireface 800 (replacing the 002).

Also I am unable get the firmware to reload. Stuck on the last version, which has also disabled input and monitor control sections of the c|24:-(

I've got the firmware updated again, via macbook and re-installing LE.

Worked for a while now I've lost the monitor output again.

I can't seem to find any pattern to this. It looks like it's outputting but no audio. Cue section works as expected. Direct connection from the Fireface to the monitors works, so it certainly lies with the C|24.

Is this a known problem?

Hi!
I´ve got the same problem as u have. Running PT9, HD OMNI and C|24.
No sound or signals is going out, also the led´s on the buttons are dead. The meters shows signal everywhere but still there is silence.

Someone at avid have to work late at christmas time:)
