Song changes keys several times. How can Auto Tune deal with that?

I have a singer and a song that changes keys several times. I have Auto Tune Pro and the key finder plugin but if the song is running how can I reset auto tune without stopping the singer to do so? If I leave key finder running, will it change auto tune pro when the song's key changes?How do the pros handle this? ProTools 12.7 HDX.

Step #1 is don't track a singer with AutoTune on(I still have no idea how anybody can sing WITH the plugin). Step #2(if your singer is adamant about having it on) is to set it to chromatic(maybe not ideal, but the ONLY way to go for tracking).

Once a track is done, either automate the plugin's key so it changes at the proper points in the song, or use the AudioSuite version and render each section with the desired key setting.

In preferences, I think, you can select something similar to "automation during tracking" and automate the keys before record.
