Default Explain Download Manager Please...DIGI???

On two different Macs (Safari and Mozilla 3.5) and on a PC (Mozilla 3.5 and IE) I am never getting the download manager to work.

It loads up OK, and connects, but never begins loading. I get the error message after about a minute "Download Integrity Invalid"

What is this program and why wont it work????

If I don't use the download manager, everything screams along just fine (I have a fast connection) but it will always conk out anywhere from 1 Gig - 2 Gigs into the download. I get this message.

/Users/phopkins/Desktop/Pro_Tools_Le_v8_56245.dmg.part could not be saved, because the source file could not be read.

Try again later, or contact the server administrator.

I just spoke with our local SP (I am in Dubai, UAE) and they assured me with my package there is no proxy or size limitations and that the problem must be elsewhere.

Digi...can you help???

Thanks

Paul

you have an option to download your file not using Download Manager, when you click on the download link you will have the download manager window opened, right there you have this msg:

About the Download Manager

"..The Download Manager provides for more effective, more efficient file downloads than you normally see with your browser, especially for large files or file sets. It can pause and restart downloads even if you turn your computer off and on again. You will be presented with a security warning and after you accept, the Download Manager will install and begin to download the requested file.

Should the Download Manager fail to start, or if you do not accept the security certificate, you can click here to download the file without using the download manager...."

clicking the option to download the file without using the download manager should resolve this problem.
