Any idea how to exclude folders from MSE scan in WIN8 which has MSE built-in?

Ok, I thought that PT had lost the file with the list of plugins. So after a re-install PT takes now 10 seconds to boot.

Sorry Philgrab, but no other idea...

Yes go to Control Panel > Windows Defender > Settings tab

How do you "exclude the Avid and Degidesign folders in program files from scanning" ? What is the procedure ? Thanks
