Interface advice
Hey there,
I'm looking at 2 possible choices for an interface to run PT9.06HDnative on my Mac Book Pro. The Focusrite Saffire Pro40 or the Steinberg MR816X. Being budget wise right now, I need 8 mic pre's in a Firewire front end for under 1k. What your favorite interface? Thank you for the advice. R

I never had any problems with interference on the Focusrite Pro40 or 56 and they both sound great!

If you can stretch your budget or search around used, I highly recommend a metric halo 2882. Superb converters, nice pres, and some crazy cool built-in DSP.
