So I got 11 license in 2013, but heard so much about the bugs, I never install it, now I would like to install and update but it's not in my account and I can't contact Avid about this because I an not on a support plan, does anyone know how I could get in touch with them about this issue?

You need to register it so that it will show up in your MyAvid account.

Someone gave me a new licence and and I installed it on my ilok and downloaded 11 from the avid site, so how do I register it?

Hmmm, since it wasn't a purchase, maybe you can't register. Either google for something like "download pro tools 11"(without the quotes) or find somebody that is registered and ask them to download for you(just drag the downloaded file to a jumpdrive). Since you have a license on your iLok, there should be no legal issues with this In the future, save those downloads! I keep a cheap 500GB drive that holds nothing but downloaded installers and updates Given that you can't run PT without a valid iLok, I never really understood the need for limiting access to the downloads

Which means I can't upgrade from 11.1 unless I buy it. Thanks for the info.
