I'm not quite sure what happened with the disconnect. I assume with the many beta programs running and the NAMM show right in the middle of the cycle we just ran low on bandwidth to get everyone registered. I personally apologize for the process breaking down and not getting all of you registered. Pulling beta users from a public forum is something we used to do a lot at Euphonix and I decided to give it a go here, because you guys are the ones using the gear most and caring enough about it to talk about it amongst each other and to us through this forum. This was outside our normal process flow.

I've not got it yet (2.7) as am busy elsewhere, but , , why don't Avid announce this?
Especially given this has been so long in coming … what's that all about. ?
Anyway, having said that, has anyone got it up & running? Is it smooth ? Is it working ?

Sorry you didn't see this. We added an Announcement within the Artist forum as well as a new thread in Technical Alerts (this offers an RSS feed so we typically add release notices there).

I don't mind repeating again that we are in the midst of a huge architecture project. 2.7 is a compatibility and bug fix release.
