Mac - PC, wav files OK for both?
I have some files and a session on my Mac that I want to burn onto CD and eventually work with on my PC. The files are currently saved as WAV files on the Mac. If I burn them onto a CD-R as is, drop them down to my PC, should they open in the session without a hitch?
I'm using PT 6.4 with the 001 on both systems and 'Mac/PC compatibility" is enforced. If there's anything I'm overlooking please let me know. This is difficult because my 2 systems are in different countries so it's really time consuming making mistakes saving files onto CDs and trying to access them later on the other system... |

Re: Mac - PC, wav files OK for both?
You should be fine. I'm on a mac but always use .wav just in case something gets sent to the pc world. Even if the files were .aif or sd2 I believe your PC will convert the files to .wav anyway...so you're good either way.
