In need of PT 11 HD system purchase advice...
Hello All,
I'm a professional Pro Tools Audio Post Mixer using PT10 for my job. I'm looking to buying a PT11 HD system for home for little projects, but obviously, I'm concerned about keeping the cost from going sky high. I want to mix in surround (5.1) and use for mixing to picture. What are your suggestions on a ground up system (MAC). I was thinking of running a Native system with one of the new iMacs and getting the HD Omni as the interface. Does anyone see any issues with this or have a better suggestion?
