People will be suggesting the use of real amplifiers instead of amp sims next I mean..come on..that's just CRAZY.

Good singers still use a little auto tune, just like good drummers still get beat detective applied. If you're good, the processing won't be noticeable - it's just to make it fit perfectly to the track, pitch/tempo wise.

- Addictive Drums 1.1.0, POD Farm, Kontakt 3.5, Melodyne Plugin, Sonalksis (All), T-Racks 3 Deluxe;
Issues:
Random errors of Lost Communication, invalid clock and RTAS CPU (even below 25% usage).
D-Verb 2.0 test:
About 55 (11 tracks) at 1024.

Oh yeah. Give me a couple takes and I'll lay down a great vocal track, and some pitch correction applied won't be a noticeable difference when you listen to the voice alone, but when you sit it in the track, the pitch will be sitting a little better with all the other instruments (because they were all tuned with a studio tuner).

It's small details that make big differences in mixing.

Actually, T-Pain is quite talented. And guess what? He can actually sing. He's just smart enough to take advantage of what he sees is a popular gimmick.
