So I just posted another blog. This one is about how to do treble booster effects with Eleven Rack, which I think some of you will be interested in. Someone else posted about this topic this morning, which stole my thunder, but hopefully you'll like it anyway! The blog includes one preset showing how to get a Brian May style tone, and another showing how to get a sound that's similar to Channel 2 of a DC30.

Very Cool Chris! Many thanks for for taking your time to create and share the Brian May preset. I have a Strat with an SD Hot Rails pup on the bridge. I added a bit of gain with White Boost and was immediately in Queen land.

Anybody else having trouble loading the Boost Tweed, Boost SR, Boost Mini, Boost J45 and Boost DC800 presets?

The others (Modern Plexi Crunch, Modern Plexi VH, MS30 Channel 2 and Par Fuzz Boost) load ok but I can't get the Boost Tweed, Boost SR, Boost Mini, Boost J45 and Boost DC800 to load. I get "Unable to load rig setting for file: "Boost Tweed" on the PC and:

DSP1> DIALOG (Bad Patch Data)
DSP2> DIALOG (Bad Patch Data)

on the actual Eleven Rack.

You need to have the Eleven Rack Expansion Pack for those patches to load, so maybe that's the issue?

Got the expansion pack, so that's not the problem. I really like the ones I can load - just can't load the ones stated above.

Cool. I'm new here, but the AC30 is by far one of the best sims I've ever heard of that amp. I'm a big Brian May fan (even have one of his guitars) and this is one of the more difficult tones to really nail with sims. I'm probably going to have to go ahead and get the expansion pack just for this now.

And thanks for the tips. The blog is pretty cool. I just tweaked a few presets and am feeling better about this unit every day.
