Anyway to reinstate HD or vanilla perpetual license?

Hello, we spent the summer physically moving from one coast to other (This was challenging in itself). Because I had a lot of things on my plate to accomplish, I failed to pay for both my HD and vanilla license. We just got settled enough that I went to my account and now there are no choices other than changing to rental.

Are there any exceptions available? I won't/can't bring myself to rent. I have a feeling Im am just out of luck but any suggestions would be helpful.

Some vendors have old stock of the reinstatement plans- you will have to hunt about.

Or just keep using your licenses and settle for what Pro Tools is currently as so many of us are now doing to deny AVID the revenue for incredibly infrequent updates.

It was really liberating when my plan expired in July. Maybe if they hadn’t doubled my and everyone else’s renewal plan rates (from $100 to $200) things would be different.

I spent a very small amount of time moving one of my projects midi,audio, and settings to both Logic Pro and Ableton Live just to see what I was losing/gaining.

Avid had already made it so core audio drivers for the HD hardware didn’t work so I couldn’t use the HD audio with other software and had to get get another interface a few years ago (RME).

At this point I guess I did myself a favor by not paying their tax.
