Import Only Alternate Playlist BROKEN
I know this import function is not used a lot but it's gone in PT.2018
Pre 2018 in the session import track data to import dialog, you could check alternate playlists and NOT check main playlist. This would allow you to keep your edited comp on the main playlist and import just the alternates playlists. A very handy function for film scoring recordist. *** hoping avid people see this **** |

Re: Import Only Alternate Playlist BROKEN
I didn't notice this because it's not the way I work but that is a surprising change. Seems if you hit Do Not Import Main Playlist, Alternate Playlist is unavailable. I can see an easy workaround (flip your tracks to create an alt playlist to sit on top in the session being imported into) but there doesn't seem like any reasonable reason to remove this ability from the import dialogue.
