Is Avid Control iOS app out yet? Not seeing it in the App Store yet...

I believe that should be available in your Avid products account under Eucon (?) I have a Dock, and Control came with it.

I would guess the OP is referring to the new enhanced version for the S1.

I doubt it will come as a separate app, but would rather expect an update to the current version which would sense the available Eucon devices on the network and then adapt its look(s) accordingly.

As best I understand it, Pro Tools | Control app is being updated, and rebranded, as Avid | Control...

and for the iOS platform, I'm assuming I'd see an available update for my existing Pro Tools | Control app on the iPad, in the App Store...

EUCON *is* in Avid Account > Products... and PDF guides, and appsets... but not the Pro Tools | Control or new Avid | Control apps... those would need to be downloaded from your device's app store, unless I'm mistaken...

this is the same program ... just a name change is what i see so far ... aslthough i assume there are some new features as well ... like Delete App Manager and Cloud Collaboration buttons !!

Yes its out, new GUI so far and more options in preferences didnt dig in just yet.

I installed it today and ran it with 2019.6 Ultimate. It's an upgrade from previous versions from what I can tell. Everything worked well except for the EQ curve window on both an iPad and a Samsung tablet. Searched and read over the info again and saw that it needs 2019.10 so I gave it a shot(little to no other choice LOL).



EQ Curve window did work but it still seems buggy. It only shows one plugin's curve and not 2 or more combined curves like the Protools software window. The app window also seems to freeze for a second or two before it updates any changes you make to that one EQ.


Overall I don't use the EQ curve window much in Protools software because it's limited to Avid EQs and useless with 3rd party EQs. I usually hide the window and wish hiding the window inside the app becomes an option. I will continues testing to new app (without and S1 for now).
