Can you turn off double click to rename region?
I'm cutting footsteps for a film and this is how I do it:
I have a long line of separated steps selected. My right click is rebound to be shift+left click, so I can sync the leftmost step, then double right click on the next step to deselect and reselect it, keeping the rest of the steps selected, and then I sync that step. So on and so forth. On Mac, this worked just fine but I just switched to Windows and now I'm having trouble getting around the fact that if I double click (even shift+click) on a region too quickly, the renaming region dialogue opens. Is there a way to disable that functionality or some other workaround? |

You can turn that feature off for MIDI clips (double click can, instead, open the MIDI editor), but I can't remember if that also disables it for Audio clips - probably not.
