PT 11 on 3,1 Mac with RME 800 has stopped outputting audio-Help 4 days left on trial

Hi all,

I downloaded the trial and was delighted to find it seemed to work fine on my non-qualified 3,1 Mac-Pro. Fast forward to a few days ago and now I cannot get any audio output. The meters show output at the Master but there is no sound. I have gone through and checked the I/0 and hardware and if I boot back into another HD with 10.0 all is fine. I've uninstalled all the versions of PT on the drive with 10.8.4 and reinstalled with the same results. The only plug in apart from those supplied with the installer is ozone 5 advanced.

Any ideas? Need more info?

Well I held down the N key on boot and PT crashed but......now it seems to working ......
