You are supposed to disable sleep on the Mac for best results with PT. Your sleep settings in Preferences should be set to >Never>

Yeah i am aware of that but instead of having to turn my computer on and off a thousand times a day i wanted it to sleep. I guess thats just how the control 24 acts?

That's how all Digi/Avid hardware acts. They are pretty honest about it when they recommend disabling sleep mode(or hibernation mode for Windows). I would just leave the computer on for the day. I start mine when I get to the studio in the morning, and it stays on until I shut down everything at the end of the day. The home machine goes on at 9AM and stays on until I shutdown around midnight.

Got ya. I never had problems with my MBP and mbox. I guess I could still sleep the screen just not the computer. Thanks
