Unlimited Local Projects now enabled for all Pro Tools | First users

Note that Avid has now provided the "Backup to Cloud" option to all users. With this option disabled you can create unlimited Projects locally. Please see avid.force.com/pkb/articles/FAQ/What-if-I-need-more-than-three-projects for more info.
