Firewire bus reset (-6090) error message..Help!
Digidesign can you please help me with this problem? I am using the 002 and a LaCie Firewire Drive with a G4 Powerbook in a daisy chain set up. I keep having my recordings stopped by a message that states.."A firewire bus reset was detected. Check firewire cables & power to firewire devices (-6090). I also noticed that the mute button on the front of the 002 turns red and I hear the 002 making clicking sounds. I have rechecked the firewire connections and power several times and I have restarted the computer several times. I have the 002 in a rack and I am using it in a small bedroom which gets hot. This problem occurs after about 20 min of continuous use. I have had the 002 for over a year and I ahve never had this problem. I am becoming very depressed and I have no idea what else to do. Can anyone help with this? Thank you so much to anyone who can help. Bill
