Just installed Intro 2023.9, now launch freezes on HEAT

So yeah, I just updated to the latest version of ProTools Intro, and now suddenly the program launch always freezes on "Loading Plug-Ins: HEAT". To make things weirder, I can't seem to find HEAT anywhere in the plugins folder. Perhaps it's not a plugin like the others? At any rate, if anyone knows what can be done here, I'm all ears. I've tried emptying the plug-ins folder and starting from there, but it keeps happening. I even uninstalled PT with that Terminal-based uninstaller, though I only had it remove the core plugins. Anyone got any other ideas?

This has been reported and talked about in the main 2023.9 thread. It appears to affect users running Ventura on Mac.

I’d watch or post in the main thread for more information.

They can add Mojave to that list. I’m still parked way back there.

Yep, I trashed Sketch, but only after first trying trashing HEAT. And now it works. From what I gather, I coulda kept HEAT, but now it's gone. Oh well!

I could be wrong, but I didn't think HEAT was part of Intro

Yeah, I didn't think so either, so I'm not going to bother trying to reinstall it...unless I hear otherwise.
