Default I/O Settings Changed??? Please Help!!

I have Pro Tools 5.3.1 running on XP. I've downloaded the driver that allows you to use your pro tools interface to listen to CDs as well. It worked fine for a while. Now, every time I enter a session, I get a message that says my I/O settings have changed. I go in and check and it shows no interface as my output. I click on the old settings and it shows my interface used to be used for output.

I cannot find anywhere to change it back and save it. It does this with every session so now I can do is use headphones.

ANy ideas on this would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks

TK

Did you try hitting DEFAULT? in the I/O settings.... Don't panic with it. Go in there and play with it for a few minutes (so to speak) and you will start to figure how it works. Try the default. Also, when you make a NEW session, when you set it up, select for I/O at the initial creation window to STEREO. That should do it. Sounds like you are selecting the default which is probably set to your last used session when you create a new one.

You can also hit my site and go to the HELP section. There I have templates that I created to use on standard recording sessions.

Hope this helps?

That did it. THanks a lot. Really appreciate the help. Didn't see the default button in the corner there. Thanks.
