Default Audio 360 Video Player not seeing PT as DAW connection

Hi,

I'm trying to get ahead of my clients by nailing down 360 video workflows before I have a project with a deadline. Good thing, since things are not going smoothly.

I can load the FB360 plugins in PT, no problem. I can pan sound around, see levels in the metering plugin, no problem. I can't link the 360 video to the PT session and Spatialiser plugin. Kind of a problem.

When I open the Audio 360 Video Player, under Connect to DAW, all I get is "No Choices". Even if the Video Player gets opened using the "Load" button in the Spatialiser plugin, I still get "No Choices". Sometimes, the drop-down menu will simply not open, so I don't even get no choices (that is very few choices). I can load the 360 video in the player, play it, pan around, but the link to Pro Tools just can't be made.

The closest I've gotten is to open the Audio 360 Video Player on a separate computer. Then, I could see my PT in the drop-down menu and link it to the player. Only thing is when I loaded a video into the player it crashed. Every time. That computer is rather ancient so I'm not too surprised about the crashes.

Anyone have any ideas on this one? Info on these workflows is still sparse and I can't find anything relevant to this in the FB documentation on Spatial Workstation.

PT 2018.7 Ultimate on Mac OS 10.12.6 on MacPro 5,1. FB360 Spatial Workstation 3.3. I've tried rolling back the player to FB360 Spatial Workstation 1.3.0 with no luck.

Do you have an instance of Audio 360 Control running with the "send timecode" option checked?

I'm pretty sure that was the setup. I got it to work by updating my FB360 suite from 2.2.1 to 3.3.0 in Avid Application Manager. The video link is handled differently and it worked straight away.
